Position Summary:

The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing the technical parameters of laser sources, segmenting the business of companies with various commercial lines, and assessing the technical and economic feasibility of in-sourcing and out-sourcing projects. The position requires a combination of technical and strategic skills to optimize the integration of laser technologies into different markets.

Position reports to: Director of strategy and development

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the technical needs of laser sources for specific applications and propose technological solutions.
• Research and segment markets to identify business opportunities compatible with the company’s technologies.
• Assess the technical and economical feasibility of projects related to technology integration, including in-sourcing or out-sourcing production.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure alignment between technical requirements and market demands.
• Develop technical and strategic reports to aid in decision-making.
• Participate in discussions with clients, suppliers, and strategic partners to ensure project success.

Requirements:

• Experience in laser technology analysis, R&D, or product development.
• Familiarity with market segmentation and business opportunity analysis.
• High analytical ability to interpret technical and market data.
• Knowledge of the laser, photonics, or related technologies sector.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical and strategic reports.
• Proactivity and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of data analysis.
• Experience in supply chain development.

Academic Background:

• Degree or master’s in engineering (photonics, telecommunications, electronics, mechanics) or physics.
• Additional business studies will be considered a plus.
