Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production facilities. This position is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, as well as supporting infrastructure and automation projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement, contributing to the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and compliance with safety standards.

Location: Vilanova i la Geltrú

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Carry out building infrastructure interventions (lighting, HVAC, electrical panels, utilities). Conduct routine inspections and record equipment anomalies.
• Support the implementation of improvements and small automation projects on production lines.
• Assist in inventory control of spare parts and maintenance materials.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving production processes.
• Comply with safety standards and best practices in industrial maintenance.

Requirements:

• Academic background in Electromechanics, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical diagrams
• Electrical commands
• Basic knowledge of automation
• Basic hydraulics and pneumatics

Skills:

• Proactive and self-driven
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving approach
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Preferred: Experience in continuous improvement (5S, Kaizen, TPM); basic knowledge of process control.
