How does it work?
Plasma fibroplast therapy targets fibroplast cells. These cells are located in the dermis, the layer of skin below the outermost skin layer. Fibroplasts are collagen and protein producing cells and play an important role in maintaining skin firmness, as well as helping skin heal.
The treatment is performed using a plasma fibroplast pen that discharges a high frequency electric current just above the skin, causing micro injuries in the skin’s layer. The heat damage breaks down proteins, stimulates fibroplast activity thus encouraging tissue to regenerate and tighten.
